PRINCIPAL’S WELCOME
We are an independent, co-educational Foundation to Year 12 Christian school located in Port Pirie.
At Mid North Christian College, we aim to provide our students with quality Christian education for life. Our graduates will be community-minded, equipped with knowledge to confidently step into their chosen career pathway, prepared with 21st century skills and a set of values that will empower them to be Servant-Hearted, Grateful, Faithful and Persistent.
Our students will learn about how they are made in the image of God and because of that, they have great value. We want to help young people begin to discover and develop their unique gifts and abilities and start exploring how they can make a positive difference in their community both now and in the future.
We are passionate about supporting and nurturing our students through the complexities of this world. We have wonderful teachers, learning support and wellbeing teams who are committed to helping students become the best they can be, and that includes providing support and challenge for those who need it.
Technology is recognised as an essential part of learning, and we are 1:1 on college-provided devices across all grades.
We have an open enrolment policy, which means we partner with each family who are supportive of the ethos of the College. We welcome students from all kindergartens and school backgrounds.
The Team and I look forward to showing you around our facilities and welcoming you into the Mid North Christian community.
Blessings

Our History
We are an independent, co-educational, non-denominational Foundation to Year 12 Christian school located in Port Pirie.
Mid North Christian College (MNCC) was founded in 2005 by parents committed to an education that invited young people to see and understand the world through the perspective of God’s truth.
Mid North Christian College (MNCC) was founded in 2005 by parents committed to an education that invited young people to see and understand the world through the perspective of God’s truth. We are committed to being a place with God at the centre – where He is honoured, followed, worshipped and revealed to our students and the wider community.
We are passionate about being a place where all students are encouraged to live through Christian values to become ambassadors for Christ, enabling them to impact the wider community around them positively, whether locally or internationally.
The College is overseen by parents, carers, relatives of students and community members, who form the Mid North Christian College Association. It is from this Association that our Board members and Board Chair are elected.
At MNCC we believe that each and every child is unique and holds great potential. Our learning programs are centred upon meeting the needs of each students through inquiry based learning, social inclusion and direct teaching.
Our campus is set on 34 acres, with contemporary classrooms, an oval, play areas, and ample undercover areas for teaching and playing.
Student learning is enriched through small classes and a dedicated Study Hub. We also have purpose-built facilities such as Science, Technology, Home Economics, Aviation and Language Centre.
We continue to invest in modern facilities, including a recently completed multi-purposed Covered Outdoor Learning Area (COLA). We are currently in the process of investing in a Nature Play space, and a new Auditorium. These facilities provide endless opportunities for our students to excel academically and reach their full creative potential.
We believe
We believe that life and learning should be fun, challenging, and authentic. Our staff work collaboratively to offer a high standard of education and community responsibility within a nurturing and caring environment.
Through our approach to teaching and learning, we help our students to develop personal character strengths that come from understanding the need to find one’s passion; their calling. In doing so, they see the world through the perspective of God’s truth.
Students live in a complex world. We aim to foster curiosity, imagination, collaboration, entrepreneurship, and creativity while helping our students discern assumptions underpinning their knowledge.
We help students develop the confidence to critique information through a biblical worldview while developing valuable life skills and a deep sense of Hope in the Living God.
“That is why we labour and strive, because we have put our hope in the living God, and especially those who believe.”
Timothy 1: 4-10
