Science Laboratory Assistant 

Contract Type: Part-time position commencing term 1 2025

Mid North Christian College offers a wonderful opportunity to serve as a Science Laboratory Assistant in the regional area of Port Pirie, South Australia commencing in Term 1, 2025.

We are looking for a passionate and skilled Science Laboratory Assistant to work alongside the College’s Science Coordinator in providing a high level of laboratory support and preparation.

The successful applicant will be required to work cooperatively and collaboratively with the Science team, and actively contribute to the vision and values of the College.

The successful applicant will be committed to serving and living in the Mid North of South Australia and working as part of the wider Christian community.

Bus Driver 

Contract Type: Part-time or casual positions available

We are currently inviting applications for Bus Drivers, (Part Time & Casual positions) commencing immediately. This is an outstanding opportunity to join our enthusiastic and dynamic team at Mid North Christian College.

College Bus Drivers enable students to attend from surrounding towns and rural districts.  They provide a high level of customer service to students and their families ensuring a safe journey to and from the College.

Skills and attributes of the successful candidate include:

  • Proven experience as a driver accompanied by a good driving record (LR License or higher an advantage)
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Effective time and work management skills
  • Current Working with Children Check that satisfies the requirements of the College

Administration Support Officer

    • Fixed part-time position
    • Term weeks only
    • Based in Port Pirie
    • Commencing March 2025                                                                     

    We are currently inviting applications for an Administration Support Officer, commencing March 2025. This is an outstanding opportunity to join our enthusiastic and passionate team at Mid North Christian College.

    As a staff member of Mid North Christian College, the Administration Support Officer will provide a friendly and helpful welcome to all students, staff, families, volunteers, and visitors on Fridays. They will also assist in the College administration processes and be responsible for the coordination of the aviation program on two other days as negotiated.

    Skills and attributes of the successful candidate include:

    • Excellent interpersonal communication skills
    • Medium to high level of computer and literacy skills
    • Competent in the using a range of software programs
    • Effective time management, organisational skills, and attention to detail
    • Competent in applying first aid
    • Current Working with Children Check that satisfies the requirements of the College
